Again, the sky was overcast on Celorico and Linhares. But the forecast promised blue skies over Serra da Estrela. So in spite of the increasing NW wind we went to Azinhas, the South take-off, hoping to be able to take-off before the wind beat the breezes. And to avoid any problem at the landing field in the flats due to the wind that was expected to blow stronger in the afternoon, we had a short task to complete.

Coupe du Monde Portugal 2014: 25/06/14, course au but de 73km

J’ai pu commencer cet après-midi mon opération remontée. J’avais décidé d’être un peu plus dans l’initiative et la bonne agressivité. D’autant plus que je connais maintenant un peu mieux mon aile. Et de faire attention à toute viscosité mentale.

The weather forecast proved absolutely right. Linhares did not see the light of the sun today, deeply buried under a thick cloud layer. Curiously, after dellaying the departure of the shuttles for one hour, the meet director sent us to Azinha, the far and South take-off. That sounded akward given the NW wind prediction.
