Aligning planets is not something you can decide to, but only observe. Tough call to find a consensus out of the short poll. Nevertheless, the first result on titles for the English version of « Parapente Performance » is unexpected and outstanding: swapping words of the initially planned title is a must. As in military and flying action, best strategy in litterature does not survive the first minute of engagement. Thanks a lot for your feedback. As well, I should have thought of a « native English speaker » checkbox in the poll, but readers will be from all over the world, won’t they? 😀

Great project! As mentionned some weeks ago, I have taken the decision to translate my book « Performance Parapente » to English. It could have happened before, now the time has come. 2016 sera certainement ma dernière année en tant que Sportif de Haut Niveau. Maintenant que les budgets pour les sportifs s’épuisent, que les quotas s’évaporent, qu’il faut faire fumer la carte bleue pour assurer son suivi médical et qu’une « stratégie WPRS » doit être établie, je n’ai plus trop le profil du poste. L’ai-je jamais eu, grande question, rien de tout cela n’est bien grave. Et objectivement j’ai produit des résultats loin de l’excellence en participant à peu d’évènements ces derniers temps. J’ai pourtant bien repris goût à la compétition l’année dernière en variant ma pratique. Je vais poursuivre et même ouvrir encore un peu plus mon éventail d’actions dans notre sport.

Je reprends une bonne vieille habitude, laissée de côté depuis deux ou trois ans: vous présenter un bilan de saison et envisager quelques objectifs. Moins qu’un bilan et une liste d’objectifs, froids et impersonnels, c’est plus un petit bout d’histoire personnelle que j’écris.
